christmas tree. i’m bored and lonely tonight and felt like messing with my camera. farm sitting all alone is getting, well, lonely. 

This little guy was rescued from being someone’s veal dinner by a friend. I was there to bring him home last night. He was only 24 hours old! We’ve been taking turns bottle feeding him. Can’t think of a better way to spend my Christmas eve. :)

I hope your Christmas was as special as this baby’s was.

hazel is most displeased with the pine flavored water bowl i’ve added to the living room. :)

we decorated the christmas tree tonight. between the beagle ornaments and horse ornaments i fought back tears the entire time. i had to go upstairs and ‘check on hazel’ a few times to hide the tears from sarah. don’t want to scar the child with my sobbing during decorating the tree. 

we went out and bought new stockings for everyone. i need things to match. my german need for order never rests.

these guys are happily sitting on the mantel.
