i’m in a guster mood this morning. wake up with all kinds of songs in my head.

i used to recite lines from this series of rejected cartoons all the time. when all else fails, “i am a banana” makes everything better.

I have always loved the lyrics of this song, but now it makes me smile even more because it makes me think of Luna. This song runs through my head when she starts to get ahead of herself. I love that crazy mare.

for my horsie friends out there… take a look at this mare, she is available for adoption through a rescue group that i have worked with and i know the women who runs it. she is a 4 year old tb, never raced. she’s 16 h and i think she’d be really pretty once she gets some love and someone does something about her sloppy mane and tail. from what i have heard about her she is NOT spooky at all, she is calm, sweet and wants to please. she has had a little training and will w/t/c and has even gone over some cross rails. the only somewhat negative thing i have heard is that she needs a lot of leg and doesn’t like to move forward off of leg alone. to me, that isn’t an issue because i’m used to having to push a horse forward and i kind of prefer the slower ones believe it or not. 

what do you guys think?

One of my project managers attached this to the Christmas card she gave me and it’s had me mesmerized all afternoon. Have I told you how tired I am? :)
